Please share your thoughts on the opportunities and challenges of big data in healthcare.

There are certain challenges associated with big data such as unstructured data, security and privacy issues, lack of data standardization due to limited interoperability, increased expenditure with strong and transferring the data, and lack of managerial skills like data governance.
Big data also provide tremendous opportunities such as improved quality of care, early disease detection, better decision making, managing both population health as well as specific individual health, increases accessibility and transparency of data, and cost reduction.
